The Most Important Day Of Your Life

Your ceremony is the most intimate part of your wedding. There are so many options and can be customized to you and your fiancee. You get to decide the location. Do you picture yourself walking down the aisle in a big glamouous church? A pathway through the sand? A walk way through a rose garden? Or between some chairs in your parent's back yard? All of these locations would make a beautiful wedding, the choice is yours. After you choose the location, you can choose the content of the ceremony. Do you want traditional wedding vows or do you want to write your own? You decide who will perform the ceremony, a pastor, a preist, a rabbi, a justice of the peace. You can choose the make up of the ceremony to fit you and your future spouse. You pick any readings you want, any songs you want sung, any prayers or scriptures you want added. You decie if you want a unity candle, or a sand cermony, or whatever else you can come up with. It is all up to you!

The important part is that you and your spouse can agree on what you want. This is a great time to show your similarites and your differences. If you come from two different religious or cultural backrounds you can mix it together and have an interfaith or multicultural ceremony, or you can throw it all out the window and start from scratch! This is the time when you will profess your love for each other infront of your family and friends. You can show them just why you love your fiancee and show your fiancee just how special you think they are.

No matter how long or short your ceremony is, the important part is that you get to take the time to enjoy it and cherish these special moments between you and your spouse. The entire wedding day will be a whirlwind of events, so take a deep breath and look into your partner's eyes. This is the person you chose to spend the rest of your life with. Smile, relax, and enjoy the moment. Listen to the words being spoken, the music being played, the song being sung and really think about the words. You will never get those seconds back, it will be the most special time in your life. Breathe, and take it all in.
