The Basics

1. Tell us a little about your business.

Buerhaus Design specializes in Wedding and Event videography serving the Baltimore, Delaware, Souther PA & NJ, Northern Virigina and D.C. areas. We're a small company and work with our clients on a personal level. Matt Buerhaus is the founding owner with a degree in Commercial Art with a Photography concentration. He shoots all of his packages personally, with the exception of two or three 'Basic' or 'Bronze' packages each month during the busy season, which are shot by Matt's mother Sandy who has worked with Matt over the course of the last five years.

Buerhaus Design began as a design firm, but with our video work so popular with local couples, we've turned into a full-fledged video studio, producing over 300 cinematic and dramatic Wedding videos during that span, yet come as unobtrusive as videographers get!

Rest assured, Matt does all editing himself, and does it all from scratch on Hollywood equilavent editing software, producing unique and emotional videos that you will cherish forever, without all the 'cheese'! We work very well with photographers, use state-of-the-art equipment w/o the need for bright, obtrusive lights, and have an absolute passion for what we do! Our goal is to make you laugh and cry when viewing your video. If you don't, we've failed!
