The Basics

1. Tell us a little about your business.

The Limo Lady is a female owned and operated incorporated company.  I will be starting my 10th year in business in 2008.  I take pride and care when dealing with all of my customers.  I treat clients the way that I would expect to be treated if I were engaging a service.  Each reservation takes on it’s own personality.  Every wedding, night-out, anniversary celebration, 80th birthday or 8th birthday, are treated with utmost detail to his or her special occasion.  “Special Memories Require Special Attention.”

The Limo Lady has been featured in articles in the Baltimore Sun, local newsprints and various other media.  We have had some of our policies regarding Prom Promise featured in nationwide industry magazines.  We also regularly make donations to local schools and churches and do our best to give back to the community. 

I, Joanna Fridinger, president, holds the office of Vice President for the Maryland Limousine Assn. I am very driven to be involved with the many issues the limousine industry is faced with in Maryland.  Ever increasing fees, illegal operators, BWI issues are just a few to name.  My company is also a member of the National Limousine Assn also.

2. What areas do you serve?

We primarily service the Baltimore/Metro area as well, Harford Country and Baltimore City. Our pricing is based on these areas.  We also service other counties, but pricing will be slightly increased with extended travel.  Due to the guidelines of our licensing, we cannot originate a reservation outside the Maryland area (with the exception of transporting clients to and from Dulles, National and Philadelphia Airport).

3. What makes you stand out?

The Limo Lady takes great pride in details of each event.  We realize that each bride and groom hope only to get married once.  We understand that their dreams and hard laid plans, need to “go off” as planned.  From the time the prospective client calls right up to the bride and grooms reception, you can be assured that our company and Chauffeur will be at your beck and call.  The chauffeur is there to assist the bride and her bridal party into the limousine and exiting. (Each vehicle is equipped with a "Bride's ER Kit".) The chauffeur will also assist the bride with any last minute needs right up to fluffing her gown as she starts her walk down the aisle.

We offer two different types of wedding service.  Our wedding package prices are all-inclusive.  Our packages include all fees and are priced at “bottom line” pricing.  No surprises, no hidden charges!    We offer a 3-hour package and (due to demand) a 1-hour package.   Both include the same wedding theme bells and whistles!  Due to changing times, The Limo Lady developed the 1-hour Mini Wedding package for those couples that are having their ceremony and reception at the same location.  Or the newly wed couple may want to be whisked away after their celebration in style and tradition!

4. What price range do you fall in to?
Our 3-hour wedding packages start at $260.00 Sedan, $359.00 Stretch Limousine (Balto/Metro area).  Our 1-hour Mini wedding package start at $125.00 Sedan, $225.00 Stretch Limousine.  This pricing DOES include gratuity and gas-surcharges.  Pricing is all-inclusive!  Pricing is based on Baltimore/Metro area.  Other areas may be priced higher due to travel time.  Additional time can be reserved for the 3-hour package, but must be pre-arranged with our office.  Our 1-hour Mini package is limited to 1-hour of service and cannot be extended. 

5. What is one piece of advice you have for brides in the wedding planning process?

Insure that you don’t have any harsh surprises on your wedding day!  Make sure you are choosing a company that is properly licensed in Maryland, properly insured and that the Chauffeurs hold current/valid Maryland Driver’s License and a For-Hire License!   Ask the company what year and model their vehicle will be.  Ask about licensing and insurance and their chauffeurs.  Ask if you can come and view the vehicle(s) before you commit to a contract!  Ask what their policy is for cancellation and weather.  Make sure that they have directions to your home/venue locations.  Not all limousine companies are what they appear and don’t be looking for the cheapest price……  As the old saying goes “you get what you pay for”.
